We tried the cheese appetizer "Pride of the North." An acquired taste, of course.
We really enjoyed the Flemish-style beef stew in beer sauce and the rabbit and chicken dish.

We tried this restaurant as it was so close to our hotel. Unlike some reviews we had a good table despite not booking. It was about 7pm on a Tuesday and filled up very quickly. The Magret was delicious, as was the Goats cheese salad. The drink prices are a little high, 15.90€ for 50cl of house wine for example. Good atmosphere and friendly staff when we were there.

The food was very good and plentiful, the atmosphere was very pleasant in a rather typical setting. The service was very friendly. For me, the Welsh rarebit was a first; I wasn't disappointed, but I couldn't finish it because I made the mistake of ordering a starter. A great place!

We came to this place for a nice cup of tea and coffee, and found this a truly lovely place. The outside is a little more special than the inside. The coffee I had was not warm but the tea was really nice.
