The guy who showed us to our table was very polite and welcoming but the two women serving the tables were not at all hospitable. We had good food but very slow service and despite asking to place our order several times we had to wait 40 minutes before ordering. Lovely location in middle of the action.

The upstairs terrace is lovely, and the welcome, service, and food are all top-notch at reasonable prices. They also have a daily special featuring excellent ingredients. A truly excellent and highly recommended restaurant in La Turballe.

The food was good but not very generous and some dishes were only lukewarm. The service was very slow. The desserts were very good.

We booked a lunch table for four the day before. The welcome was very friendly and natural. We arrived 15 minutes early and received a warm welcome, being seated directly on the upper terrace. The staff and owner were attentive, smiling, and very friendly. From aperitif to dessert, everything went very well. The dishes were beautifully presented. The €25 set menu was perfect; we all enjoyed our meals. The staff were welcoming and always asked if everything was alright. La Taverne des Pêcheurs is a good place to eat; the setting is pleasant, and the armchairs are comfortable. If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be the length of time between courses and certainly the location of our table...in fact, the sun was getting stronger and stronger, and the shade sail couldn't protect us during our lunch. The heat was intense; we had to put our glasses and drinks in a shady spot under the table. But I must say that this in no way detracts from the kindness and friendliness of the staff and the owner, and from the quality of the food. Furthermore, we are experiencing an exceptionally hot summer; at other times of the year, it can feel quite the opposite. We are very happy with this place and highly recommend La Taverne des Pêcheurs. Thank you to the owner, the staff, and the chefs.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the appetizer to the dessert; everything was excellent, the servers were pleasant and very friendly. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
