We had a great time; the food was excellent and the service was top-notch. However, the portions weren't huge, and a little sauce with the cordon bleu would have been nice to make it perfect, but other than that, it was delicious.

Before publishing, I took the time to read other reviews. I also considered the explanations the owner gave my father when we paid (after he had left the restaurant). I want to believe that the owner and the waitress were having a bad day. There were nine of us plus an 18-month-old child. The owner was very curt and not at all welcoming; we felt like we were bothering her. The waitress was silent and didn't smile. To illustrate my point, at the end of the meal, while many tables were still on their main courses, we had to endure a rushed table clearing. The owner even went so far as to snatch a teaspoon from the 18-month-old's hands! While I was at the bar paying, the owner curtly reprimanded me for blocking the passage (which I can understand, except for the tone she used). This prompted me to leave immediately to avoid causing a scene in front of the other customers who were finishing their meals, leaving my 87-year-old father alone. It was truly disappointing because the appetizers, main courses, and dessert were excellent, as was the amuse-bouche.

A warm welcome and the meal was very good (special mention to the chestnut tart which was truly excellent). The service was quick and efficient. The prices are a bit high, but comparable to those in the surrounding area.

The restaurant was recommended to us by Domaine Gueth and we weren't disappointed. The staff are absolutely charming and attentive, the dishes are carefully prepared and extremely tasty. We will gladly return on our next trip to Alsace!

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. From the appetizer to the dessert, the food was truly fabulous. The main course, in particular, was a real culinary highlight. We had venison and cordon bleu – both were delicious. The server also spoke German. We'll definitely be back!

A truly wonderful discovery! Beautiful setting, excellent food, a great wine list, and very friendly service. The portions were finally reasonable for an Alsatian restaurant, allowing you to comfortably plan on having a starter, main course, and dessert.
