Le Belle-Vue sur Gueberschwihr

On a Tuesday evening you have no choice in this village and the food was good. The terrace comfortable if you’re not squeezed in in some of the tables which seem a bit tight. Staff were friendly and helpful. The salmon on sauerkraut was tasty but didn’t look appetising. I believe it was cooked in a water bath as it had the appearance of something that came out of a vacuum pack. As I said it tasted good just lacked in looks. The side salad at Euro 3.50 seemed a bit over priced. What I believe causes confusion is that the menu estates all dishes come with potatoes/rice/vegetables etc but each dish has a set type of starch. Like the salmon came with boiled potatoes. To avoid confusion it would be easier if each main cause just stated all that it comes with. The tart flambé was very nice. Prices ok for where and what it is.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to seat us, which wasn't easy since we have a 70 kg dog who, even though he doesn't move around much, is difficult to position so as not to disturb the other customers. The bluefin tuna/beef tataki, foie gras, sirloin steak, and pike-perch fillet were all delicious dishes. A great restaurant to try if you're passing through Gueberschwihr.

An excellent, friendly, and professional welcome, as well as great table service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal (the winemaker's salad was just the way we like it). A highly recommended place to return to.

I stopped here after a long hike and got exactly what my body needed: fresh draft beer and choucroute complèt. Tender sauerkraut hidden under a layer of meat and sausage. Delicious!

We had a wonderful time enjoying delicious food. The table had been set up to accommodate our mother in a wheelchair. The staff were very friendly.

The welcome alone deserves excellent marks, the tarte flambée is superb, and the main dining room has been redecorated. The weather wasn't ideal, but the terrace offers a lovely view of the vineyard. Parking is very easy in front of the restaurant. We had a wonderful evening with friends.
