The current boss has a sense of humor.
One of the interests of this terrace is to have a perspective view of Place St Léger, its windows, its passers-by, its buildings and the sky, a changing spectacle. It's worse than a view of the sea or a lake, but it's better than no view of any perspective.

Passing through my hometown and my childhood, I took the opportunity to spend the lunch break at the Tavern....😍 In addition to the authenticity of the place (building steeped in history), a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere and an excellent meal at a more than acceptable price...

A rather brilliant little novelty for little eaters..
Tapas between 4 and 8.50 e small portion savory tart. Diots mini carbonnade etc...
Right in the center of Chambery. The Tavern on the pedestrian square.
The fountain....the clock...the traboules (small arched pedestrian passages), surround the restaurant.
Dish of the day...à la carte salads or Savoyard specialties.
Artisanal ice cream waffle crepes. . .
The very pleasant, well exposed terrace.
Reservation recommended.
Inside, a back room, an old cellar with exposed stones and its trompe-l’oeil.

L'accueil au top !Cuisine maison et très bonne . La patronne tares souriante et et acceuillante . pour s'excuser d'une attente un peu longue on nous a proposé un dégustation de differents vins. Nous avons passé un bon moment !

Une nourriture correcte et un super accueil. Nos enfants ont été accueillis comme des rois !! Nous avons fait la connaissance de la patronne qui est super accueillante.
La taverne travaille les bières belges. La terrasse est agréable dans cette charmante ville de Chambéry.
