We came for crepes in the afternoon. The waiter was very friendly and professional! The crepes he made were delicious, and the fillings were perfectly balanced. There wasn't much of a wait. I highly recommend it!

A very friendly tavern with smiling and efficient staff, a great atmosphere. The bistro-style food is very good. Isabelle, the owner, is very accommodating and always smiling. Place Saint-Léger is beautiful; I recommend it for a drink.

We had a drink as a family with our three children and had a wonderful time. The lady who greeted us was incredibly kind, smiling, and very pleasant. A warm welcome that makes us want to come back, and excellent advice on Belgian beer. Thank you again!

15/02/2026: My husband and I came for our second Valentine's Day. It was a truly delightful experience, filled with sweetness, flavor, and generosity. As we were leaving, the manager told us we were the last customers before the restaurant closed. This touched us deeply and I think it will stay with us for a very long time. Thank you to this restaurant for making this dinner such a wonderful memory. 🙌 And a special mention to the owners: you managed to convey your generosity and love through the food and the memories we will cherish. 🩷
04/02/2026: Flexible regarding arrival time (we informed them of our delay and the manager didn't hold it against us). Charming, rather intimate setting. Quick and efficient service. Good food but relatively expensive. Value for money 3/5. Friendly welcome. Clean restrooms. Extensive wine list. We had a pleasant time.

Brasserie l'effet boeuf

10/05/2026: We had a great time at L'Effet Bœuf. Despite the slightly late service, we enjoyed our meal and had a good time. A good place for lunch in Chambéry.
04/05/2026: If it were a little cheaper, it would be awesome. Yes, they deserve 4.5 stars.
