I very rarely post reviews, but here I think it's normal to take a little time
We stopped in front of La Tavola, a very nice, cozy and charming place.
The overall rating made us a little hesitant at the time but we decided to let ourselves be tempted to form our own opinion.
We did very well, smiling staff, the waitress very friendly. And the dishes, a pure delight, scallop risotto and seafood pasta, we enjoyed with a good bottle of Lumbrosco. Obviously, we ended this meal with a nice sweet note: the tiramisu, with a generous portion and the apple pie and its scoop of ice cream.
I recommend this place 100%. A very nice surprise, and a very nice place to end your visit to Villefranche sur Mer

We had absolutely loved the atmosphere and the service in this restaurant. We are from England and every time we stay here we always go to this place. “The owners and a waitress girl made us feel like a family this time and share some jokes with us. It was a very pleasant evening. My favourite is the Pot of scallops, spinach and mozzarella dish. Amazing location as well! “

Great Italian fare at a reasonable price. Great pizza and pasta on offer. Just one road away from the harbour area. Family owned.

I highly recommend the pizza here, we ordered spaghetti bolognese and veal as well but the pizza was the star. Excellent crust and nice sauce. We ordered the mozzarella appetizer but I they forgot about that portion of the order because it never came out so we just ate our entrees.

The best restaurant in Villefranche sur-mer! We tried many of the local restaurants on a recent holiday and La Tavola was by far the best, both in food and service.
The welcome was warm and friendly and staff were helpful and efficient.
The food was delicious, the pasta was the best I have ever had. In fact my husband enjoyed his so much that he ordered a second main dish. Desserts were magnificent.
It is slightly tucked away but worth stepping off the seafront to discover this gem and Villefranche-sur-mer's beautiful hidden alleyways and cave streets.
Thank you very much to the proprietors of this delightful restaurant - we would happily return.

Personally I found the welcome a little cold, but as soon as you talk to this lady, you realize that it's just a facade. We found the dishes delicious and plentiful and we had a pleasant time. Special mention for the scallop risotto and the green apple juice, very good. We will come back for sure. 😋

My wife and I ate at this restaurant in the evening on April 2nd. We were able to be seated promptly outside. We had a lovely goat cheese salad to share, my wife ordered the spaghetti bolognese and I had the diavola pizza. We greatly enjoyed our meals and would return again! Furthermore, our service was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. I had read some google comments regarding poor service, but this was not our experience, on the contrary - our service was excellent.
