Nice place. The price is good and the tarte flambée is quite tasty. Unfortunately during the Christmas period the whole city is full of people and the queue to get a table is long. However, the staff was all the time super nice and helpful and it was worthy to wait.
We all had a tarte flambée. They were all good, but nothing more. Rather below average for one of the region's top dishes. The service was ok. Neither particularly nice nor unfriendly. You sit on not particularly comfortable chairs directly above the leek. It is the only “restaurant” in the market hall. So you shouldn't expect much and that's what it's all about.
We stopped by la terrace on a rainy morning. The restaurant is part of the covered market, which provides multiple options for a snack. We ordered two traditional tartes flambé, which is a staple of Alsace’s cuisine. Recommended for tourists looking for a quick bite.
