We had lunch at Tête de l'Art. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a tranquil atmosphere. The Menu Faubourg was excellent, with surprising flavor combinations. The chef is a master at creating emulsions. The regular lunch menu, however, was average. For €35, I've had better lunches in France. Both desserts were also uninspired. The service was friendly but rather impersonal. Overall, it was a mixed but quite good experience. I was less impressed by the excessive communication before and after the reservation (mandatory confirmation even though the restaurant was far from full, and multiple requests to leave a review).

This was our second visit. The first was almost perfect. We came for our son's birthday dinner. We arrived at 8:15 pm, and our order was taken around 8:30 pm. The appetizers arrived around 9:30 pm. We waited for the main course... after 40-45 minutes, I took the liberty of checking on it (yes, we had to work the next day) and asked to cancel the desserts given the wait time. Our waitress, pleasant and smiling, did what was necessary to "speed up the service." This was done very amicably. Thank you to her. This wait clearly spoiled our evening. Between the wait and the excessively high noise level (I couldn't hear my wife across from me – we were upstairs). Another "minor disappointment": the menu. I like short menus, something that's put together quickly... but here, a choice of two dishes seemed far too limited. A second meat option (a classic, well-prepared beef to please most, or something else), or even a vegan option, would seem sensible. My apologies, the menu is quite clear on their website... but still. In short, we didn't enjoy our evening, whereas on our first visit (admittedly in winter) we loved the calm atmosphere and the quality of the food. But we will come back again (at least). The quality of the ingredients, the execution in the kitchen, the culinary combinations we wouldn't dare try ourselves, and the almost flawless service (always with a smile and friendliness) deserve praise. Always a wonderful experience at La Tête de l’Art. We had lunch there last Saturday at 8 a.m. The small upstairs lounge was perfect for sharing a family meal in an intimate and convivial atmosphere. As always, the dishes are beautifully presented, full of creativity, and showcase excellent ingredients. Special mention also goes to the wine list, which offers some delightful discoveries, including unique vintages like Ondines and La Grange. This is a place we love, whether for a romantic dinner, a meal with friends, or a family gathering. Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and this truly enjoyable experience!
