La Tête de Solaise sur Val-D'Isere

The hotel is a bit overrated in my opinion, and the experience was disappointing, especially the restaurant. Otherwise, the rooms are pleasant. Special mention goes to the spa, which overlooks the valley – a breathtaking view!

This was our second time staying at Le Refuge. The room, the staff, the service were all wonderful. Extremely convenient to have Oxygene rentals onsite. The best part was making first tracks every morning when the piste opened due to the mid-mountain location. 10/10 we would absolutely stay here again. The only drawback (and this is a small one) is that you have to dine onsite each evening ... so during the week we were there we had covered the entire dinner menu and were looking for some options. But the options provided were still excellent.

I had lunch there twice, both times incredible. The burger savoyard is great, the linguini truffle even better. On a sunny day, sitting in the terrace is not to miss. Amazing views, amazing food, amazing service.

Great location, service a bit slow in the morning. However, a can of Coke at that price is a shame.

I've booked a treatment at the Refuge spa several times now and I'm always delighted. Théodora, in addition to being incredibly friendly, is very professional and an expert in the treatments offered! I book a slot every time I return to Val d'Isère and I'm never disappointed by this suspended moment where I forget everything and am pampered!

The welcome is impeccable, the staff are friendly, attentive, and very professional. The dishes are delicious, generous, and perfectly prepared with high-quality ingredients. Everything comes together for a unique experience: a magnificent setting, flavorful cuisine, and a convivial atmosphere. A must-visit in Solaise; we will definitely be back!

We started with a cocktail prepared by Clément on the terrace, which was excellent, then we went for lunch, where we received a warm welcome from Marine, the head hostess. We were lucky enough to have a table with a breathtaking view of Val d'Isère. The cuisine is fresh and refined, with very generous portions. I would like to thank Malo for his professionalism and good humor, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Looking forward to returning! 🥂 I highly recommend this establishment ✨

I treated my parents to a night at the mountain refuge at the beginning of the season, and they'll remember it for a long time! Everything was perfect! From booking the room over the phone to arranging transportation to the hotel. Upon arrival, my parents received a warm and attentive welcome from the entire hotel team. They were able to relax in the hotel's spa area. The room with a view of the valley was a real favorite with them. Finally, my parents enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast.
