La Tornade Blonde sur Lyon

We were welcomed without a reservation without the slightest problem. Mado, "The Blonde Tornado," will push the boundaries to seat you no matter what. No menu! The typical daily specials, in the culinary style you expect and hope for in this kind of establishment, are all in your head. One problem: everything looks tempting!!! And whatever you choose, it's absolutely delicious, and very likely all homemade!!! And really inexpensive. As soon as I go back to Lyon, I'll make it a point to show this place to anyone who wants to come with me. Go without hesitation, and with your mouth watering...

A delicious meal, Mado and Lina are wonderful. We had a marvelous day, with lovely encounters and a great atmosphere with the other guests. 👍😊

A wonderful atmosphere pervades this small restaurant. If you're looking for authenticity and a friendly atmosphere, head to this haven of peace!

Very warm welcome, the food was really good, the general atmosphere was nice (a bit like a "bouchon"... As for the service, Wednesday... Perfect... But on Friday, we couldn't get to dessert (we had 1 hour and 10 minutes to enjoy it, but work doesn't wait), and that frustrated us... It was definitely exceptional, so if you're still in the area, we'll be back...😉

This lunchtime, I tried LA TORNADE BLONDE, all alone before heading off to work. I ordered the set menu: onion tart, then tomato fraiche, and a chocolate and rum mousse. All homemade dishes, a delight of flavors. As for the ambiance, it's an old-fashioned bistro with a working atmosphere. I love it. I paid €22 for everything; it was an excellent experience. I'll be back regularly.

I just discovered this wonderful, well-attended place. Mado, the owner, is radiant and full of love for her customers. A bistro where you feel at home, very welcoming, and only good things to taste.
