We had lunch at the restaurant this afternoon, impeccable service, generous food and very good quality. In this establishment, a smile is essential, very low price €20 for starter + main course + dessert. I highly recommend.

17/01/2024: although the frontage does not necessarily look great, very friendly, attentive welcome, excellent products. A good address, especially since it is not easy to find a restaurant open (and without reservations...) at this time of year in Chinon!
26/08/2023: Delicious cuisine with good fresh produce, impeccable service! Manager, waitress, impressive chef, she manages all these roles alone and very well. Very good time had, I recommend :)

Restaurant at Hotel de France

05/04/2024: Hotel very well located for visiting the town and the castle, in good condition, and good breakfasts. Pleasant staff. But some sources of dissatisfaction. The room and the bathroom are small, the shower cubicle is cramped, the water temperature is difficult to regulate. In terms of connectivity, the 4G coverage is poor and the wifi is not efficient. And then this item of clothing from the previous guest on the floor in the room, we really wonder if the cleaning was done.
