La Vallee du Kashmir sur Saint-Dizier

Sunday August 18, 2024 we reserved a table for 7. I introduced this restaurant to my guests who had a perfect time. It was a culinary journey filled with subtle and pleasant flavors. For some this place was a discovery, they let themselves be taken on this taste journey. The prices are lower than elsewhere and it's even confusing: 17.50 euros for the new starters+mains+desserts formula and 19.50 euros for the discovery menu of starters+mains+dessert assortments with a bottle of very cold gris served in a bucket of ice (11 euros). The portions are generous, the rice is subtly flavored, the cheese-nan served with 3 sauces are just incredibly good. The dishes based on chicken, beef or lamb are so good that we didn't leave a crumb. Some guests were initially reluctant because they didn't know this type of Hindu-Pakistani restaurant; they just had to sit down and let themselves be taken in for the magic to happen. You will have understood, we recommend this restaurant without any hesitation for the price, the setting, the flavors, the quantities, the simplicity and the generosity of the place.

Various dishes, choice, the boss adapts to your tastes. Friendly welcome, pleasant staff, for the first time, I was delighted with the service. The dishes are delicious, well prepared and presented. I will go back there. Fair price, I didn't break the bank. I recommend this restaurant.

Overall good experience without really feeling authentic Indian flavors. And where did I not grasp the Indian and Pakistani culinary nuance? Although there was, a very pretty menu with dishes 🤩 translation included👍🏽... The service 👍🏽 😋naan bread...
