I'd give this establishment a solid four stars; the service is very good. The room is very nice, and the evening meal is very good. However, there's a slight drawback with breakfast: the pastries and bread aren't fresh. There are no eggs, no fruit salad, and quite a few things are missing, especially regional products and homemade jam. Considering the price of the evening, which is around €125, the breakfast is a bit disappointing. That would be the only point that could be improved.
The restaurant was impeccable, as was the service; the menu offered excellent value for money. A very warm welcome. A place to remember for a stopover.
For my part, I'm talking about the restaurant 🍴
What a surprise it was when I arrived at this establishment!
First of all, I love a place's history, and this one dates back to 1930, before becoming a gourmet restaurant.
I appreciated the atmosphere of the dining room, which was both warm and charming. Personally, I found it had a really good vibe. You immediately feel that it's a family-run, authentic, and welcoming establishment.
The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. The dishes, for their part, were simply delicious. If I could give it 21 out of 20, I would gladly do so!
You will also be welcomed by the owner, who is remarkably kind. Personally, I will definitely return: this restaurant truly deserves to be recognized—even over-recognized. If you ever happen to be in Dreux or the surrounding area, and you enjoy fine dining, I encourage you to stop by. You won't be disappointed by the setting, the friendliness of the staff, and the positive atmosphere.
Well done! Keep up the good work, and see you soon!
