La Verdoyante sur Gassin

Because of the many good reviews and the beautiful location, we went to this restaurant with friends for a special evening We were taken to the terrace for the aperitif, where we then had to place our entire order. When we arrived at the table, it was pretty plain, without a tablecloth, and all the drinks were already on the table. After that, the food came in quick succession. This was very good, but the price was rather steep. A 3 course menu for over €60. For the main course either fish or chicken legs. Alternatively, you could choose a main course from the menu. This would have cost an extra €20!!! No greeting from the kitchen etc. And the service was mechanical and the friendliness was rather artificial. Maybe due to the end of the season Too bad. We were hoping to find a new favorite restaurant.

A big thank you to La Verdoyante for the warm welcome during our visit! The view there is simply breathtaking, and we highly recommend that you go and admire it for yourself: it is unforgettable. In terms of cuisine, La Verdoyante stands out for its refined dishes, highlighting Provençal specialties. The ingredients, fresh and local, are prepared with care and passion that is felt in every bite.

We enjoy it here, the cuisine is excellent. Pretty terrace with beautiful view of the valley. We come there and we come back with great pleasure.

Very beautiful decor, we went in the evening, the setting is superb, very warm welcome, service is correct, beautiful table setting, the dishes are well presented, with flavors. To see during the day, to appreciate the view of the landscape. A little background music would be a plus for me.

We came to have dinner and the patio is gorgeous. We were first to be seated for the first seating but as the dinner progressed there was a very lengthy delay between our entrees and plats. We noticed tables around us that ordered after us were receiving theirs first. When they finally arrived they were delicious, the prawns were huge. We saw other tables ordering Bouillabaisse and we wanted to come back to try that. When I tried to communicate with them for a future reservation they were quite curt when I mentioned service was slow and we had 3 small children with us that go to bed early. The response I received was to go elsewhere and wasn’t very customer service oriented. Unfortunate as we wanted to come back and the setting and food was great.

Sublime experience! We dined in the idyllic setting of the Gassin vineyards, on the vast stone terrace of a Provençal country house, offering a breathtaking view. The service was perfect… The dishes were very fine. We completely loved it, with no downside of any kind!! See you next year!

Nice restaurant, pretty terrace, a lovely view... a very warm welcome, the staff takes great care, efficient and professional service. In terms of cuisine, a short menu that tempts you, creative cuisine full of regional flavors, accompanied by a glass of rosé from Minuty (the estate is right next door) in short, happiness! A great must-visit address if you are in the region.

Lieu d’exemption avec une vue sur la baie de St tropez à couper le souffle. Accueil très bien. Nous partons tous les 5 sur les menu à 63€ euros. Foie gras au top et émietté de crabe du même niveau.Pluma de porc tendre en goûteux à tomber, le bœuf Rossi aux truffes simplement excellent. Nous prenons tous le crémeux de pistache aux framboises, mariage parfait, bravo. Le service agréable, attentionné lorsque quelques indésirables moustiques sont venus nous taquiner on nous propose gentiment un répulsif que nous acceptons. Je recommande chaleureusement

Ritorniamo sempre con piacere in questo ristorante delizioso, una location impareggiabile, vista sul golfo di saint tropez ma immersi in una tranquillità invidiabile, la clientela sempre adeguata al luogo, mai chiassoso. Cucina sopraffina tutti i piatti eccellenti. Unico difetto … bisogna prenotare con largo anticipo… quando un posto è al top ci sta.Alla prossima
