La Verriere sur Concarneau

Very good restaurant/bar, friendly welcome. Even without a reservation, they found us a table for four despite it being busy that evening. Nice decor and very good food.

It was perfect!! Parents and teens were delighted. A little away from the crowds, very stylish decor, impeccable service, excellent cuisine with generous portions for teenagers.

Nice setting, lovely menu! Inconsistent service!

We had dinner at this restaurant for our last day in Concarneau, the three of us. The place is very pretty, pleasant, and seems new, with an inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was rather mixed from the start. The welcome seemed lukewarm: we waited at the entrance before having to ask to be seated ourselves, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full. A waitress, however, understood our frustration, and then another person took our order and served us with great kindness and professionalism. The food was quite good overall. However, the drinks service was disappointing, especially the warm Coca-Cola. When it came time to pay, the interaction was again difficult. We were also very uncomfortable with some racist remarks we heard coming from the bar area. This creates a real sense of disconnect between the restaurant, with its elegant and pleasant setting, and the attitude observed at the bar. It's a shame, because the establishment has real potential thanks to its location, decor, and cuisine. We strongly recommend that management focus on the reception, the coordination between the bar and the dining room, and how customers are treated, in order to preserve the restaurant's reputation.

Having seen the old Verrière, I can say that this latest version is the most refined. A real success! It's beautiful, and you feel comfortable, whether for dinner or drinks. And the staff is relaxed and welcoming. ☀️🌱
