We were warmly welcomed by the waiters. The mussels and fries were good. The brasserie is well located.

I had lunch at La Vieille Auberge today during my visit to Mont Saint-Michel and I don't regret it at all. The set menu is good value, the portions are generous, the dishes are beautifully presented, and the service is excellent, provided by a very friendly team. I highly recommend it and will definitely return on my next visit.

A great time with excellent value for money. Not to mention the warm welcome. The outdoor terrace is well-sheltered and sunny. I recommend it. Thanks to Vincent.

For the Mont, the prices at the restaurant are okay. The quality seems quite good. The service always seems a little overwhelmed and unenthusiastic. But the lovely seat on the terrace is some consolation... 😉

It's certainly a touristy spot, literally packed during peak hours, but overall, lunch was good. I was torn between oysters, shrimp, or crab, but in the end I tried everything and enjoyed it. The ever-present omelet was also good, and service was quick despite the restaurant being packed. It was very pleasant to eat lunch on the terrace, caressed by the sun's rays; it's crucial to arrive not too close to lunchtime to avoid having to stand around waiting for tables to become available.

I'll give it a 5 because God didn't just choose this place for us to come there. This view. This feeling of peace that charged us with energy to the fullest. You put twos and now fewer people will come there. Maybe the owner is not a nice person to you, but I'm grateful to him for taking on this business. There are few such crazy people. As for the staff, I think they did their job well. I myself am not the best in my field, so I don't dare to evaluate anyone, I'm not a pro at this. The price is 28€ for three lamb chops? 😁 In my opinion, this price is just great. 👍 May everything be fine with everyone 🫂

02/07/2026: I felt like I stepped into a movie when I stayed at this hotel. I was first greated by the friendly and helpful staff at the bar on the bottom floor right off the main strip of Mount St. Michel. The atmosphere of the bar looked like something out of the Lord of the Rings and I enjoyed local drinks like French wine and local Mount St. Michel beer which is very good. A beautiful spiral wood staircase took us up to our room several floors up. The view from the room window is incredible and reminded me of a Harry Potter backdrop. The room has been modernized with nice and functional bathrooms. The room's decore and ambiance was a nice touch and well fitting. The later evening hours at Mount St. Michel was quiet and peaceful, which is enjoyed by those staying on the island. Staff as the hotel was excellent and made the stay even more pleasurable. A tasty breakfast is also included. This hotel deserves top marks.
13/06/2026: We stayed in a double room connected to another in the attic (with 3 single beds). Good rooms, good shower. Easy access right upon arrival on the island.
