La Vieille Auberge sur Le Mont-Saint-Michel

Restaurant. Internal (2 floors) and external environments. Access from the main street and external corridor. Few speak English. Good kitchen. Typical medieval decoration. The service wasn't bad, even with the communication difficulties.

I stayed in this hotel, I think it has the best view of Mont-Saint-Michel. The view is more than perfect. The location of the rooms is a luxury, I had a more than incredible experience. I totally recommend staying on Mont-Saint-Michel, and especially in this hotel. The rooms are very good and clean and we sleep very well. I validate and recommend 100%.

Do yourself a favor and rent a room near the parking lot. It's a cute idea to stay on the island but the rooms are quite dinky. And. The beds are quite small. On top of that. Everything shuts down at five p m when the abbey closed. There was a water and soda vending machine, but it was not operating correctly.We couldn't even get a drink of water. You're going to have to slap your bags up hill and up a bunch of steps.And into a tiny room. It's a cute idea but rethink it and stay by the parking lot. Obtw There are some great restaurants in the city.And it's only twelve euros taxi ride back and forth. As far as food options on the island most of them have a 2.8 rating, so you get an idea of the quality of the food and the quality of the service. 😞

We didn't try the restaurant but the hotel! We were pleasantly surprised. Located in an annex on the cemetery side, we had an attic room with 2 views: one towards the footbridge and a splendid view of the bay from the large bathroom window! The room was a respectable size for a building of this age! Excellent bedding! We were able to leave our bags in the luggage storage when we arrived and when we left so as not to be cluttered. We had been warned that there would be stairs to access the annex and the bedroom (no large bulky suitcase). Johana at reception was really friendly and available. The breakfast served at Saint Pierre was excellent, varied in sweet and savory options, in a very picturesque setting.

Magnificent little family weekend, simple but efficient room, clean, very quiet and excellent bedding. Plus the view from the terrace at the foot of the abbey, the small outdoor lounge as in the photo on the site would have been great but it's already perfect. Very friendly welcome at the Auberge Saint Pierre where we had dinner and also had breakfast. Stay engraved forever in our memories. THANK YOU

Hotel: we spent 1 night in this hostel. Nothing to say, magnificent view of the bay and friendly staff. 18 € excellent buffet breakfast. Very good stay.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l'hôtel La vieille Auberge. Nous avons découvert avec plaisir une belle petite chambre donnant sur une superbe vue sur la baie du Mont Saint Michel. C'était parfait !

Pas top top execif pour un rapport qualité prix vraiment bof..... Surtout dans un endroit comme le Mont Saint Michel......

Période hiver : Le restaurant est plutôt rempli (sauf extérieur évidemment) Nous étions 2 et avions pris des moules marinière, elles étaient au goût de nos attentes, les frites malheureusement pas faites maison et sèches. Pour le dessert 2 crêpes : une pomme, amande et caramel plutôt bonne même si les crêpes en elle même était un peu molle et spongieuse, les étaient bizarre en compoté industrielle. Puis une crêpe flambée qui elle était très bonne, elle était à la glace vanille et puis flambé avec du grand Marnier (devant moi en plus 👌), je ne vous conseille pas d'y aller en hiver si vous doutez déjà de si vous allez manger au mont saint Michel !

Super emplacement, chambres un peu fatiguées, mais ça vaut le coup
