A cuisine bursting with flavor that delights both the palate and the eyes. You can feel the care and attention the passionate chef/owner puts into preparing his dishes. We stumbled upon it by chance and we'll definitely be back!

The "cook-server" offers us the best food in Villard. He is dedicated to sharing and introducing us to his passion...cooking and flavors. Delicious and original dishes. The spritzes are to die for, especially the lemon spritz, which I invite you to try. Thank you for your kindness.

Ferme Bois Barbu Restaurant

11/02/2026: We came as a family for several days and we were all delighted. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable, the rooms comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast generous and high-quality (homemade yogurt, fir honey, jams from the garden...). We felt right at home: books, games, a crackling fire, and genuine kindness. The cuisine is exceptional, with a renowned chef, awarded a Michelin star, who cooks exclusively with fresh, local produce, much of it grown in the hotel's own enormous kitchen garden. A hidden gem in the Vercors! We highly recommend it.
31/01/2026: The room was spotless with everything you could need, the breakfast was generous, and the meal was worthy of a semi-gastronomic restaurant, prepared with passion and local ingredients. A warm welcome. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend it. We wish them the success they deserve. The Labranche couple.
