We just had lunch at this restaurant located on a medieval street in Le Mans. We were blown away by the value for money of what we were served... At first glance, the restaurant's facade isn't very inviting with its menu boards that look a bit touristy, but as soon as you step inside, you'll find a beautiful, chic, old-fashioned decor, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, efficient and friendly service, very generous portions, and thoughtful touches... If this restaurant were in my city, I'd eat there every week! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Excellent value for money, friendly and welcoming service, complimentary digestif offered at the end of the meal, cozy atmosphere. In short, a very good experience for my first time at this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

03/12/2025: This is our second visit to this restaurant, and we're still impressed. The welcome was excellent. The food, whether it's the daily special or anything from the menu, is a delight 🥰👌 It's all fresh 🙂🫵 The desserts were delicious. We were surprised by the very reasonable prices. To top it all off, a nice little red wine, and our taste buds were in heaven. So, check it out daily, but a word of advice: book in advance.
03/12/2025: Warm welcome, same atmosphere as before, nice menu. I loved the little "gluten-free" touches like the homemade mayonnaise and the bread for the cheese – absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it.

Le bistrot sur la place

17/03/2026: I very rarely give 5 stars, but this place deserves them. Excellent value for money, a warm atmosphere, and very pleasant staff; I highly recommend it.
14/03/2026: The portions were very generous and delicious. The welcome was excellent. The service was impeccable and attentive. Special mention to Fabrice and his cheerful disposition! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have a good time and enjoy a great meal!
