The cuisine is refined, with surprising and harmonious flavors in every dish. The service is impeccable, professional, and friendly. A wonderful discovery! We will gladly return.

Valentine's Day Dinner A truly wonderful discovery. The dishes were sublime and flavorful, prepared with great skill—a well-deserved Michelin star. The service was discreet and perfectly embodied the French tradition. As for the sommelier and owner, she was incredible: each glass of wine was a delightful discovery, accompanied by a clear and precise explanation. Her cheerful disposition added a touch of elegance. The decor was breathtaking. I will cherish the memory of this experience; I still get goosebumps thinking about it. Of course, I will return to this beautiful establishment. Our evening at Granica was enchanting, from the first step to the last sweet note. Arriving at this magnificently renovated barn, transformed into a haven that is both contemporary and welcoming, immediately sets the tone. The subtly controlled proportions offer each table the intimacy conducive to conversation. In the kitchen, Alexis has created a perfectly executed seven-course tasting menu that delights the palate without ever becoming tiresome. Among the highlights: a flawlessly cooked scallop; a bisque with remarkable aromatic intensity; a particularly successful pairing of pearly sea bass and hollandaise sauce; an ethereal sabayon that perfectly complements a deliciously indulgent celery and truffle duo; and duck presented in two variations: a delicately pink roast and a modern take on pithiviers. The dessert course concludes the meal with equal finesse: perfectly balanced citrus fruits, fresh and luscious, followed by a daring combination on paper—mango, cauliflower, and vanilla—whose perfect harmony allows the meal to end in a triumphant finale. This gastronomic ballet is orchestrated in the dining room by Alice, who achieves an elegant balance between conviviality and the excellence of French service, enriched by a precise and passionate knowledge of local wines. A well-deserved star, which could undoubtedly, and we hope, lead to a second.

A very good restaurant near Chambord that showcases local produce. The service was almost too efficient. The sommelier gave us some good recommendations for wines. A minor criticism of the food: there was a bit too much sweet and savory during our dinner, with a lack of acidity or vibrancy in the overall balance of the dishes. The dessert wasn't particularly memorable. We had a lovely, gourmet evening.
