I had tea there yesterday and it made me want to come back for lunch today...very good, excellent, refined cuisine, beautifully presented, with a pleasant and smiling welcome and service. We came for Valentine's Day weekend. The room was spotless and clean.

Mixed feelings. I used to come regularly when the Villa des Arts hotel was independent, and now I find it's a little less appealing. Aesthetically, there are Brit Hotel ads everywhere, which somewhat spoils the overall tasteful decor done by the previous manager. The room is still very nice, and the dinner is high quality, no complaints there. However, breakfast is much less impressive. Upstairs, there's a small, cramped room... no plain yogurt or skyr. No fruit salad and no eggs... it's a shame, as all of this is standard in hotels these days. There's no other choice but to eat bread and pastries (fresh, admittedly), but not very healthy... it was better on the ground floor before.
