I note the negative reviews but honestly this was an utterly brilliant meal and the cafe gourmand was the best I have ever had anywhere in the world. The staff were perfectly nice. The setting was beautiful. The entrecote was tender and delicious and perfectly seasoned. Watching the chef working in the kitchen, he certainly knew his onions. I would go back here any day of the week. But by all means go and blow your money somewhere less good if you want. It means there will be a table available for me!

Dommage d’être à côté d’une table de 20 anglais bruyants et fumeurs surtout en réservant .

Happy dining! Authentic, homemade cuisine with taste and very good value for money. We are not in the tourist trap despite the strategic position in the heart of the old town. The staff of the day were very friendly and attentive despite the Saturday lunchtime shooting. We will come back!

We live in France and have eaten at many restaurants - our meal was ok melon for starter far too much melon the steak was excellent dessert not so good. Sadly I would not comeback as not once were we asked if we enjoyed our meal not friendly.

Restaurant in the historic center of Beregerac. The food was great. I ordered the menu of the day (€25) and I was surprised. A marinated salmon with a very good vinaigrette and a shale entrecôte. The dessert was a mango sorbet with something else. Totally recommended.
