La Violette sur Bain-De-Bretagne

Having enjoyed Bistrot Violette so much, we were eager to try La Maison Béarnaise, and we weren't disappointed! The decor is lovely, the staff are as professional and friendly as ever, the menu is simple, delicious, and well-executed, and we can't wait for warmer weather so we can relax on the beautiful terrace for an aperitif! We wish you all the best in this new venture!

We ate there for the first time, and it was the restaurant's first service, so we'll moderate our opinion. We did have a wait, but again, we're lenient because we weren't in a hurry. However, we're less forgiving of the waitress's behavior, which was very cold and bordering on unfriendly. In short, we'll see in the future. We're not convinced and will try it again when the restaurant has a bit more experience... On the other hand, the view is fantastic, and I think having drinks on the terrace overlooking the lake would be wonderful, if the service were more friendly.

A superb discovery! We had an absolutely wonderful time at this restaurant with its magnificent setting and splendid view, which made the experience even more enjoyable. From appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent: flavorful, refined, and beautifully presented dishes. A true delight from beginning to end! The welcome and service were also top-notch: a warm, attentive, and professional team who made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Everything was perfect for a wonderful evening. I highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return!

Dining with this magnificent view of the lake brought serenity and incredible charm to the evening. • The welcome & service: A huge thank you to the team. We were greeted with such warmth and smiles that it was truly delightful. The service was top-notch: professional, attentive, and seamless. • The food: A pure delight! We tried the full menu (starter, main course, and dessert), and it was flawless. The dishes were succulent, generous, and bursting with flavor. A true feast for the taste buds! In short, a favorite spot that I wholeheartedly recommend for the visual pleasure as much as for the delicious food. We will definitely be back! 😋

For a family lunch, be sure to book ahead as it's already quite busy even though the restaurant only opened yesterday! The place boasts a beautiful panoramic view of the lake thanks to the large bay windows in the ground and first-floor dining rooms. There's a large bar and an open kitchen. The staff is very welcoming, the service excellent, and the food is of very high quality (deviled eggs, grilled prawns, flank steak with homemade fries, Paris-Brest, rum baba). It truly has a bistro atmosphere. I highly recommend it. Best of luck to the whole team and see you soon!
