La Virgule sur Paris

03/01/2026: Very touristic place, not worth it considering all the options in the zone. We had a club sandwich, nothing special. Extremely expensive. 7.5€ for a coke.

19/12/2025: Having been refused entry to a nearby tea room, narrow but long, we received a wonderfully warm welcome here from the waitress, who was neither haughty nor fussy, and always smiling despite what was undoubtedly a long day. Admittedly, you pay for the location: Rue de Rivoli; but it's worth it if you need a break. The decor is plain and simple, nothing provocative. The manager, perhaps a bit of a perfectionist, came back to straighten the menu from the next table that we had looked at, thinking we'd had something to eat after ordering our drinks (she seemed less of a perfectionist with the restrooms, which were dark and poorly lit). (07/12/25 6:30/7:00 PM) The lemon meringue pie at €10 was not memorable, contrary to its price. 7.50 euros for the coffee but it is very good (and the coffee with milk is the same price, whereas too often elsewhere they charge much more for the coffee with milk).
