Friendly staff. Attentive to guests. Wonderful spa. Impeccable afternoon tea. Very generous and well-stocked breakfast. However, the evening meal did not live up to the establishment's star rating. It lacked the finesse and creativity one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. 20 euros for a glass of wine seems excessive. The flavors in the dishes did not meet the expected palate. Very disappointed.

The hotel was great, but I wonder why a Michelin 2-star restaurant only gets 2 stars... The service and food were all disappointing!! After eating course meals for several days, I felt underwhelmed so I ordered a la carte dishes, but this is the first time I've seen it take longer than the course meal.

Excellent welcome and very pleasant, smiling staff.
The room is very cozy, but it was impossible to get a wink of sleep. It was extremely hot, even though we had set the thermostats to 17°C, and there was absolutely no soundproofing. There was noise all night, and the curtains weren't blackout enough, making it impossible to sleep after sunrise.
For a 5-star hotel, not being able to sleep is more than disappointing.
Breakfast is overpriced for what it offers; there wasn't even jam for the pancakes, except for one jar they give you for two... Luckily, the service and the restaurant make up for it.

Impeccable, everything was perfect. I'm a roofer in Alsace (Elsass Rénov) and I was there with my workers; we really enjoyed the restaurant. I stayed one night with my wife and again, impeccable, don't change a thing! 🙂

A wonderful welcome from the moment we arrived. The valet parked our car in the hotel's private parking lot and explained the history of the Witches' and Thieves' Tower. 🙂 They even took our luggage to our room. The receptionists were all smiles. The hunting-themed decor in the entrance was lovely and very pretty. The room was spotless, clean, and spacious, with a balcony offering a magnificent view of the tower. We ate in the Winstub (Alsatian wine bar), and what a treat! The venison was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, simply perfect. The service was quick and the staff friendly—nothing to complain about! Breakfast in our room was generous and very good. Thank you for the jar of jam and the kugelhopf; we will gladly return!
