Excellent restaurant at a reasonable price. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly and efficient staff. Perfect for an evening with family or friends. The mussels are delicious and the savory crepes are varied and tasty.

As Marseillais expatriates in Rennes for various reasons, we were delighted to have a bit of sunshine that day, and eager to indulge ourselves (food lovers as we know how to be!), we headed to L'Abri du Marché on the expert advice of a vendor at the Marché des Lices. And let me tell you, sir, you know what you're talking about. The food is excellent, the menu extensive, the setting delightful, the music cheerful, and the staff fantastic. Our beaming faces, captured by Lilie (spelling?), brilliant and professional, attest to this. The generous portions are undeniable, the mussels are good all year round, despite what the menu might say. Go for it without hesitation, and plan a nap afterward! Fabulous! Top-notch!

We've had two Andouilletes, we love them and this place has met and exceeded our expectations.

We came once with two groups of residents from a care home at the same time, a total of 15 people, and we will definitely be back! The welcome was outstanding: the servers were incredibly accommodating, even sending us photos of the layout beforehand to help us organize the visit of people in wheelchairs. Once there, they were extremely kind to our residents, smiling, patient, and very attentive. The meal was excellent: generous portions, delicious dishes, and fast service despite the restaurant being full. Everyone enjoyed it from beginning to end! Note: there are 3-4 steps to access the restrooms, but this didn't prevent our outing from going very smoothly. A huge thank you to the team for this enjoyable experience. We highly recommend it, whether for a care home outing or a family meal!
