The fried escalope is a local institution, and the draft beers are delicious. The terrace is simply amazing. I highly recommend it.

We ate here in February 2026. It was a very mixed experience. Some staff were rude and almost hostile. Others (including the owner/manager) were delightful. The veal, chips and asparagus were delicious but the tarte aux myrtilles was disappointing. We had an excellent bottle of wine.

This our new favourite spot for lunch on the slopes of Meribel. For service, food and value, it really ticked all the boxes. We were nine, five adults and all loved it. Plenty of other smashing spots but this place all round was cool

Le Clos Bernard

28/03/2026: I just had a great time at Clos Bernard with Leo De Para Bourg. He's the guy with the sunglasses. Honestly, impeccable service from AZ. We had a wonderful meal and what an amazing wine list!
22/03/2026: Arriving at night in a horse-drawn carriage, pulled by two horses through the snowy forest lit by torches, in front of this cozy chalet-style restaurant. Delicious meat cooked over a wood fire, a delectable tiramisu made tableside...magical and unforgettable!
