The fried escalope is a local institution, and the draft beers are delicious. The terrace is simply amazing. I highly recommend it.

We ate here in February 2026. It was a very mixed experience. Some staff were rude and almost hostile. Others (including the owner/manager) were delightful. The veal, chips and asparagus were delicious but the tarte aux myrtilles was disappointing. We had an excellent bottle of wine.

This our new favourite spot for lunch on the slopes of Meribel. For service, food and value, it really ticked all the boxes. We were nine, five adults and all loved it. Plenty of other smashing spots but this place all round was cool

Le Clos Bernard

23/08/2026: Very disappointed with the porcini mushroom fondue; the defrosting process was poorly managed, and the fondue itself was of poor quality.
20/08/2026: The most expensive and the worst. A small bowl of salad for 6 euros? That's a joke! The prawns weren't cooked enough, but you have to ask, they'll put them back on the grill! No finger bowls or rubbish bins. The park is tiny. Meh, really mediocre. Even though it's the countryside, come on! It's a tourist trap.
