L'Affable sur Cannes

This restaurant is an absolute gem in Cannes. Every single dish we tried was completely delicious, and the service was warm, fast, and attentive throughout the night. I was really impressed by the extensive wine list with so many great choices. You can actually see how spotless the kitchen is and how tidy the chefs are, which clearly shows the high level and standard of this place. If you are visiting Cannes, you definitely need to check it out. Just keep in mind that they are only open during the summer season, so do not miss your chance!

L’Affable is a Michelin Guide–listed restaurant in Cannes, and making a reservation is essential, as getting a table without one is almost impossible. When I first entered, I found the restaurant quite small, slightly cramped and a little stuffy, with only a limited number of tables. However, I soon understood why it is always fully booked. I chose the set menu and had the tempura-battered prawns, followed by the roasted beef with fine herb sauce and finished with the orange crêpe. My friend chose one of the salads. Every dish was exceptional. The presentation was so elegant that each plate looked like a work of art but the flavours were even more impressive. With every bite, you discover new textures and layers of flavour. Despite my first impression of the dining room, the quality of the food made the entire experience unforgettable. This is definitely a restaurant worth discovering, and I would highly recommend it.

Give stars for the soufflé — best during my trip! The food is average but good value for the price for lunch set. I recommend just getting a main course with the soufflé.

The food is excellent, albeit a tad pricy. You know it's legit since it's filled with locals. We walked in with 7 people and sat at separate tables, but the host was accommodating.

A very French café with very attentive service. There are two ordering options: a menu for 59 with a starter, main course, and dessert, or a la carte, which is slightly more expensive but objectively more appetizing. Lots of locals, even on weekdays, so make a reservation.

Chanced upon this place on the Michelin Guide app. It didn’t disappoint. Great service, cheeky and funny wait staff, amazing food and generous portions. I might just return for lunch today.

Having tried countless restaurants in Cannes, I can confidently say that L'Affable is by far the best! The quality is top-notch, and so is the service! The price is very reasonable.

Great lunch here with excellent service and value. We had three course meal and a couple glasses of wine. The Riviera salad, roasted fish and Grand Marnier souffle were delicious. All cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.
