L'AFFICHE sur L'Isle-Adam

I hadn't been to this restaurant in ages, but I went back tonight with friends. To our surprise, the concept has completely changed; the menu is minimalist and could use some expansion—more of a Parisian bistro style with quality ingredients. We ate well, and the welcome was very pleasant and friendly. The location on the banks of the Oise is a definite plus.

Arnaud provided excellent service. He was very friendly and the salad was generous! Thank you so much!

In short: the food was excellent, but the service was a disaster! The waitress was cold and uninterested. We were seated in the back room with our 14-month-old baby. It was stiflingly hot, and when we asked for air conditioning, they gave us a small fan, even though the next room was air-conditioned and the restaurant was practically empty. But no one offered to move us to another table. We ordered a roasted Camembert with new potatoes and salad. The dish arrived, and we were told that it wasn't potatoes but charcuterie that was served with it. They simply placed the plate in front of us without even asking if we were satisfied. At no point did the waitress come to check on us to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything else. As a result, we didn't order wine or dessert. Once we had finished our meals, we paid and left. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Arriving at the end of service, the waiter and chef were busy serving me in the best possible way. A place to remember. I recommend it!

Escape the Parisian heat and dine in an excellent restaurant on the banks of the Oise. A very warm welcome, superb service, and delicious food. We'll be back!

We were a little disappointed by the quality of the food. I ordered sea bream (€23) with leek cream, which was swimming, or rather sinking, in a runny green puree. It wasn't bad, but nothing special, and not very attractive. My husband ordered kidneys, which were also swimming in sauce. The pretty little crispy leaf didn't save the presentation. However, the tempura starter was very good (the sauce was served separately). I would have chosen ice cream for dessert if it had been available. The service was excellent; the staff were very friendly and smiling. I don't think I'll be going back.

Ascension Day atmosphere: unwind in a cozy little corner. Everything is perfect, from the aperitif to the coffee. Top-notch food and service. We highly recommend it!

Excellent service, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end.
