Made reservations for a Thursday night. Food was very good! Each dish was made very well and the flavors all complemented each other. The owners serve you and prepare the food and you can tell they take great pride in the prep and their patrons. Highly recommend a stop here. For 100 euros, the seven course menu plus wine is a great value in Avignon. The one thing to take L’Agape up another notch is to improve the by the glass and bottle selections. There is only one white, rose, red, and sparkling to choose from by the glass. The by the bottle list is above average.

On the advice of a #Vignarès wine merchant met during a tasting at Domaine Richaud, we had lunch there today with great pleasure. Subtle and elegant cuisine, charming terrace and equally charming service. Address to remember

Professional well run restaurant. Excellent well organised and friendly service. Lovely terrace shared with neighbouring restaurants (municipal lighting like football floodlights, so not good - try to get shade behind one of the majestic plane trees). Some excellent cooking, delightful deserts.

Perfect. From start to finish. Whether it's the service, like the cooking. Very good value for money for this afternoon.

The food was absolutely divine! A nonsense menu that was rich in French flavours. The fish and ceviche were a stand out. The lovely lady we had serving us was beautiful, and made the whole experience so much more. The setting is an outside under a beautiful tree with other restaurants, and also lots of space inside if the weather turns. A little hidden gem in the heart of Avignon ❤️

Magnificent restaurant which takes us on a journey through French gastronomy.
We were delighted, great welcome and top service.
A discovery menu for both of you and finally a word from the chef: for my birthday.
What a delight!
I recommend.

A place that stands out from the crowd, not to be missed for a successful gastronomic evening in Avignon. In a romantic place, impeccable and adorable service: kindness, efficiency and above all the desire to please that we feel at every moment. Well done to the warm and charming team. Absolutely delicious cuisine: starter, main course, dessert, everything is exquisite. Bistronomic cuisine, fine, inventive, balanced, with fresh products. The plates are superb. The magnificent room and the perfect terrace, all in a nice, no-fuss atmosphere. Relatively high price, but not overrated and it's definitely worth it for the creativity and quality. We had a delicious evening. I highly recommend it. Not to be missed.

We visited L’Agape with high expectations of a Michelin Star restaurant. We come from Melbourne and are used to excellent dining & service and were curious to see what service you would receive in France. The food was quite good. We especially enjoyed the banana and cocoa desert. The only thing that surprised me was the service. There was a bone in my daughter’s fish. No one topped up our water and we were never asked if we wanted another drink. Half the plates were cleared between courses and the others left. The cutlery for the second course was almost thrown down in a pile not neatly placed in front of us. Quite frankly I was surprised.
