I highly recommend it :-) The owner is exceptionally kind and genuine, just like his restaurant. A herbal tea made with verbena and mint from the garden is a truly delightful experience! Thank you for this wonderful moment.

A very warm and friendly welcome! A quiet restaurant with a peaceful atmosphere. Spectacular aligot served directly to your table. The price is relatively high, but justified by the homemade cuisine and superb service. A relaxing evening where you can take your time and enjoy local dishes.

We were advised to go to L'Alambic to try the traditional aligot. Very good and the service impressive... it's quite a spectacle. The dish is simple (mashed potatoes, cheese, garlic, sausage) but very well prepared, hearty, and delicious. Good desserts: gourmet coffee and French toast.

Truly good food, prepared with passion and a desire to share, which is also evident in the warm welcome. Whether it was the Pounty starter, the Auvergne pork products, the Truffade, the Aligot with sausage or duck confit, or the pig's trotters, it was a perfect dinner, one that leaves you wanting only one thing: to come back. The Velay verbena nougat ice cream or the apricot tart, candied after a 48-hour baking process, were a delightful end to the meal. And as an added bonus, the coffee at the end of the meal was just right, a perfect taste. . An establishment to recommend to anyone who wants to eat well.

19/12/2024: Small establishment in size and big for the succulent cuisine of the talented and friendly Chef Julien Chabert! Both at lunchtime and in the evening, we enjoy ourselves in this restaurant and the service is efficient, friendly and pleasant. Obviously, it is advisable to reserve because the capacity is not large. I recommend this establishment without the slightest restraint as the flavors are there! DON’T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE ON YOUTUBE: “À TABLE JUJU”
16/12/2024: Excellent across the board. A small and intimate restaurant with a Lovely atmosphere. The food was sublime and the service exceptional. Quality food at a reasonable Price. A must if visiting this area. Make sure to book !

12/12/2025: Friendly welcome and service! The beef was a generous and high-quality cut...homemade fries, perfect!! No bread, salt, or pepper on the table. The speculoos tiramisu was sickeningly sweet and way too sugary!!! Good value for money! I'll be back.
06/12/2025: Update: I've tasted the food! The truffle was succulent, the meat was delicious, and the desserts were simple yet satisfying!! I haven't tried the food yet (but I will soon!), but I can tell you about the service, which was very efficient, and especially about the owner, who is lovely and passionate! You can tell he's put his heart and soul into taking over this legendary Clermont establishment, and he's succeeded! The decor is fantastic, beautiful, original (the props! 👏), and well thought out. There are free games (darts and board games). They organize themed evenings. They're open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and, for now, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. And do we even need to mention the stunning view of the Puy-de-Dôme? 🤩 A place to (re)discover!!
