Lunch break in Bayeux on market day. Creative cuisine with a touch of fusion. Well worth the detour. Dishes beautifully presented, delicate, and flavorful. A great selection. Two friendly young people serving. Highly recommended.

While on holiday in Normandy, we visited Bayeux. We discovered the restaurant L'Alchimie. A very warm welcome, a set menu for €23 that was just perfect, including a starter, main course (tuna poke bowl and beef tartare), and dessert. A wonderful time shared with the family. Highly recommended.

06/08/2026: Very quick service, very generous portions, and very good. Fresh product! Delicious!
31/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at "Chez Paulette". We received a very warm welcome, and since we were traveling with two young daughters and a stroller, the staff didn't hesitate to move tables to make the terrace as comfortable as possible for us. We had a beautiful view of the cathedral, and the bagels were delicious and great value. We highly recommend it.

17/07/2026: Super delicious food!!!! Very nicely presented with super tasty fries and a salad. Cozy decor in the restaurant and a super friendly woman. The desserts are tasty too. Highly recommended, definitely come for delicious burgers at a good price!!!!
