Loved it. Great food, loved their speciality traditional menu. We were a group of five and got to taste many of the menu items, from escargot to crispy goat cheese salad. Main courses included a perfect steak, sausage, aubergine parmigana. Great desserts, chocolate with soft fondant inside and parlined nuts and apricot clafoutis. Good and reasonably priced regional wines and a good cocktail to start.
Nice location in the old town, on a smaller quiet side street.

A belated review following a dinner almost a year ago. Very fond memories of this establishment, both of the refined cuisine and the attentive service (we arrived without a reservation, and they arranged a table for us for 2 hours).

An exceptional welcome. All the staff were incredibly attentive and professional, yet not intrusive; it was delightful.
The starters and main courses were well-prepared and perfectly portioned.

Today I tried the Alchemist's ultra-gourmet coffee, which can be served at the end of a meal or in the afternoon for a delicious treat.
It was incredibly good and indulgent; each little piece was different. I can't wait to return to the Alchemist for dinner to add to my review, especially since the chef told me he makes everything himself, respecting the seasons, with a minimalist menu for maximum quality. Well, we've been back twice. The first time, the food and service were excellent. However, the second time, I was much less impressed by the owner's very unpleasant attitude. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. I don't go to a restaurant to be yelled at.

Excellent meal. All the dishes were very good and showed real flair. For octopus lovers, the dish is a must-try. The portions are generous and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and attentive without being stuffy, very pleasant. A place we highly recommend.
