A wonderful discovery of this restaurant for Valentine's Day. Pleasant service, warm welcome, excellent cuisine. We greatly appreciated the thoughtful touches for my pregnant partner. We will gladly return.

We had a wonderful family lunch at L'Alchimiste on a Saturday in February. The house aperitif was fragrant with orange and spices, and all the dishes were delicious and original (poached foie gras, perfectly cooked fish fillets, and the cherry on top was Lydie's "moist cake"). The service was refined and attentive, the wine selection was excellent, and it's an authentic place that I highly recommend! Thank you to the team at L'Alchimiste!

A fantastic Saumur restaurant for food lovers. The dishes are carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. The setting is pleasant, the atmosphere intimate. The service is efficient and attentive. In short, pure bliss 🥹. Set menus are €30 and €34 for two or three courses.

Excellent dinner at L'Alchimiste. The price is fair for the quality. The wait between the appetizer and the main course was a little long (30 minutes), which I think is unusual. The restaurant is very quiet and welcoming. I recommend it!
