L'Alchimiste Restaurante sur Saumur

21/09 : Première expérience à L'Alchimiste ... Félicitations très sincères au Chef pour ses plats divinement présentés et vraiment exquis, et à son épouse pour son service si délicat et professionnel. La salle est également très bien décorée, et l'on y apprécie le calme et la fluidité du service. Aucune fausse note, c'était juste parfait pour un menu à 32,50 €, un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous vous recommandons avec plaisir, n'hésitez surtout pas à réserver !

Cuisine less elaborate than imagined given the setting of the restaurant.

Really excellent food and great service. A little more choice for non fish/offal eaters with the starters would’ve been lovely but what we had was excellent and was supplemented with not one but two amuse bouche. Nice wine selection.

Regular customers of the Alchimiste for several years, it is clear that each time, all the dishes are delicious! The taste of the different ingredients is sublime, everything is homemade, not to mention the top presentation... We are always fully satisfied. A real treat, with good value for money. Bravo to the owners for so much investment in our taste buds.

Absolutely faultless lunch here this week. The flavors and execution were exceptional in every course and the food was well supported by local wines and great service. If you’re visiting Saumur this restaurant should be at the top of your list.

Très bonne table Saumuroise, jolie décoration, les plats sont maisons et très bien exécutés pour des prix corrects. Un vrai régal! De plus la propriétaire est très gentille et discrète. A faire absolument.
