This place offers excellent value for money on the lunch menu. The food is fresh and well-prepared. There were six of us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The service was professional and friendly. I highly recommend it.

I live in Amboise and have eaten in many restaurants.
This restaurant isn't right at the foot of the castle, but it's a 5-minute walk away on a small street, and there's a parking lot nearby.
It was a very pleasant surprise! 🤩 The food is authentic and homemade, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it's very clean.
But above all, the food is delicious and inexpensive!
The service is excellent and always with a smile.
I highly recommend it! 👏 I'll be back! 😉

Absolutely lovely meal…wonderful starter of asparagus and pork belly and fantastic bream and vegetables for entree. My husband had lamb shoulder that was so tender! A little bit of a walk from the tourist center but totally worth it!

This restaurant, located a bit out of the way (but next to our hotel, "Le Blason"), advertises "seasonal cuisine with fresh ingredients."
It lives up to its promise, and the food is delicious.
We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The cuisine is perfect: choice ingredients, expertly cooked and seasoned. A few surprises and amuse-bouches punctuate the meal.
The service is on par with the food! No waiting, and always with a smile and friendly service.

We love local cuisine and pay particular attention to the quality of the ingredients.
We must admit that this restaurant surprised us, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the appetizer to the dessert.
Everything was perfect for a wonderful experience.
I would also like to especially thank the person who was single-handedly providing service, with great professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. Despite working alone, she remained welcoming, attentive, and smiling, which greatly contributed to this delightful experience.
Excellent value for money, and we will definitely be back.

Passing through Amboise for the weekend, we tried L'Alliance and it was a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, the dishes are well-prepared, very flavorful, and generous. The service is impeccable, with a truly friendly waiter. What's striking is the value for money: for this quality of food and service, the prices are very reasonable. As a bonus, we discovered a selection of local and organic wines. It's fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in Amboise.

The L’Alliance restaurant in Amboise, slightly out of the way, offers truly excellent, flavorful, and well-prepared cuisine that is definitely worth the detour. The service is adequate, if not exceptional, and the somewhat underwhelming setting doesn't quite do justice to the quality of the food. A great place to eat well, despite an atmosphere that could be improved.
