We had an amazing dining experience at L’Alliance. We chose the four-course menu, beginning with a delicious prawn salad. The beef that followed was simply the best we have ever eaten, served with mushrooms, new potatoes and silky purée.
Next came a magnificent cheese board with so many wonderful choices that we happily relied on our friendly waitress to select for us. Dessert was a beautiful assortment of fruit and sorbet, chocolate mousse and crème, all accompanied by an excellent bottle of local wine.
This isn’t an everyday meal, but it is perfect for a memorable occasion. Set in a quiet house on a peaceful street, L’Alliance offers a lovely escape from the crowds.
Do not miss this place!

Good, well-presented, and tasty French cuisine. Excellent value for money on the lunch menu. I recommend it 👍 Don't hesitate to venture a little outside the city center and take the lively street to discover this welcoming restaurant

Our dinner at L'Alliance was lovely. In fact, it was so good that it made me mad that all of the restaurants I'd eaten at in France up until that point hadn't been at that level. The flavors were amazing. I enjoyed the oeuf parfait, the pork loin, and a praline eclair. The backyard area was delightful on a summer night, the service was attentive, and they were great about ensuring that they could serve a dish that took my child's food allergies into account. Wish I had the opportunity to go back!

High-quality cuisine, simple yet refined. We opted for the €39 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) which included a fresh and light starter, a crispy and perfectly cooked fillet of sea bass on a bed of fresh vegetables, or tender fillet of beef, and a delicious homemade lemon tart, all for under €45 with a glass of wine included. Delicious, with quick and welcoming service. The decor could perhaps be updated to attract more customers and create a warmer atmosphere. A good restaurant with well-prepared ingredients and excellent value for money.

As a frequent visitor to Limeray in Amboise, I've eaten at this excellent restaurant on many occasions.
It's not right at the foot of the castle, but a 5-minute walk away on a small street, with parking nearby.
It's a very pleasant surprise 🤩 The food is authentic and delicious, homemade, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
But above all, the food is excellent and reasonably priced!
The service is top-notch and always with a smile.
I highly recommend it 👏 I come back often and am always happy. 😉
