Very nice setting, beautiful decoration of the room, the welcome was very friendly. Christmas menu for €45, the dishes were plentiful and very good. The only downside is the relatively long service time for a weekday lunch service. Arriving at 12:30 p.m. we left at 3 p.m.

Came for lunch, there were three of us and we had reservations. Fortunately because there were a lot of people. The wait for the dishes was very long. Mixed meal and rather expensive. I really enjoyed the sweetbreads, which were breaded and very well cooked. Small garnish of vegetables and fries to accompany. Delicious frozen nougat. And the profiteroles are also good. On the other hand, my two guests were disappointed by their dish: overcooked steak, grilled shallots and broccoli, nothing more than a vol au vent. Too bad for a restaurant that works with the good butcher Au Veau d'Or...

A real temperature problem. Main dishes barely warm Frozen pie… Cold team and welcome What can we say about the temperature in the restaurant… we kept our scarves on! Difficult to enjoy a meal in these conditions. Disappointed.

The food was very good. The little downside was being asked if we had a reservation when they just opened that evening. They did seat us but there were only 3 tables with guests the whole time we ate so not sure why they wanted a reservation for an empty dining room.

29/11/2025: A must-stop during your strolls in Metz! We stumbled upon this picturesque, timeless spot frequented by regulars, where the coffee is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the endives with ham prepared by the owner, a very friendly person who loves her city and shares great local tips with visitors like us. A wonderful experience to be repeated!
19/10/2025: It's nice, but it feels a bit dated. The place is quite pretty. As for the food, it's not great either. It's good, yes, but the dishes are limited. We wanted to order two tartiflettes, and she told us there was only one left. The dishes are also microwaved. €4.50 for a drink is a bit steep, I think. But it was still good.

Restaurant Pilatre de Rozier

03/12/2025: I was there as a training facilitator. We were a group of 12 people. The meeting rooms are very functional with all the necessary equipment. Welcome coffee and pastries were provided in the meeting room, as well as water. The food was home-style but very good with a good selection. The staff is super friendly. See you soon 😉
21/11/2025: I went there to attend a work training course because they have rooms available for rent. No problems with the rooms or equipment. You can eat lunch there. It costs €10 for a main course and a side (starter or dessert). But you can easily order more by paying extra 😀 Parking is available in their reserved spaces, subject to availability. If many rooms are booked, there will be a shortage of spaces. The surrounding area has paid parking.
