L'alpage de Seraussaix sur Morzine

A welcoming farm inn, both for its location and the people who greeted us. The food was as delicious as the surrounding landscape. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It's a shame the chickens are no longer part of the experience. 🐓🤭 Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot, welcoming, and a great platter of local products to enjoy before hitting the hiking trail again.

Today we went to the Séraussaix Farm… and I absolutely recommend it 1000%! 🐄🧀 The cheeses are delicious, with a special mention for the shallot fresh cheese: a real treat! 😍 A little tip: go early! We arrived around 10 a.m. and there was already only one shallot fresh cheese left. Needless to say, it goes very quickly! If you're passing through Avoriaz or Morzine, this farm is definitely worth a visit. A wonderful encounter with the producers and top-quality products. ❤️

Local produce is featured at reasonable prices; the country salad is enormous, ideal for two. The fromage blanc is delicious... In short, a very good place, a welcome change from burgers and the like... 👍

We stopped by the farm and ordered an appetizer platter with delicious cheeses and charcuterie. It was full of flavor. You can eat in, buy cheeses, and there's also a vending machine. A great place to eat.

We had a wonderful time. Very welcoming. High-quality and generous food (good value for money). Easy parking. 👏👏👏

Excellent value for money, with a delicious cheese board and a wonderfully comforting hot chocolate. I highly recommend it!

It absolutely astounds me to see the awful videos and photos of these poor cows imprisoned in stalls and allowed no movement whatsoever, yet people ❤️ & like them! Perhaps the ❤️’s & Likers should spend the winter season with that nasty metal frame around their neck while chained to guarantee no movement. And yes I know this is due to snow outside & the cows can’t graze. No need to keep them locked up like that though, how about a barn they could at least move around in???? Response to reply below. I was giving 1 star to the way the cows are tethered up in those metal neck harnesses. I’ve now upped it to 3 in response to your comment. I know a fair bit about how farming works, grew up in Cornwall and had a lot to do with farms, mostly dairy. As for giving 1 star I give what I feel, you can see my reviews and I’ve never seen a business promoting itself with photos & videos of cows locked up like this, so I haven’t given any other mountain farms 1 star, yet. Where I grew up the cows were not locked up like this! I know this is common practice in these environments but it doesn’t have to be. You point out they are outside May-October so that’s 6 months chained up like the photo & video then, unless I am missing something. As for the excuse why they can’t move around, you’ve answered it yourself, “cost of the buildings” so the cows endure 6 months locked up like this so the costs are kept down, exactly my point. But as I wrote, I have upped the stars. I hope you can take on board that these cows are living creatures, have done no wrong but the system feels it is perfectly acceptable to imprison them like this……. To save money🤐

We tasted their cheeses: Tomme, Reblochon, and Abondance, and their fondue mix with Reblochon...it was truly delicious. We bought our cheese from their vending machine...perfect...I highly recommend it.
