The first thing to highlight was the staff's service, super attentive and friendly at all times. They explained how they work and what each aspect of the meal entails. The food was very good; they brought us water as soon as we sat down, without charging for it. We ordered draft beer, and it was very good. Regarding the price, the flammekueches were around €11-14, and the drinks were €4-10. Overall, a highly recommended place.

It's good, but nothing special. The flames aren't very full. The prices have gone up a bit (2025 vs. 2023). Nothing sensational.

Delicious tarte flambée, salad, and cheese platter. Friendly and fast service. Beautiful restaurant. Amazing value for money. Definitely go! The two of us found a seat even without a reservation on a Friday evening.

A little piece of Alsace in the Hôtel de Ville district. A real selection of tartes flambées and drinks at very reasonable prices, the service is perfect 👍 And the flammekueches..... Delicious, a treat! Bravo

The place lacks charm; the tables are stacked on top of each other, you have to get up to get your order like at a fast-food restaurant (despite an average price of €30 per person), and the waitresses aren't particularly friendly. The tartes flambées are nevertheless very good; we had the Munster, the gratin, the traditional, and the raspberry tart for dessert. The Gewurtz wine is also worth trying.

Very friendly service, the tarte flambée tastes really good, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. You should make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is quite small.

Great restaurant, very atmospheric. Delicious food. We ordered traditional and vegetarian Flammekueche. This is a typical dish from Alsace, which resembles pizza. It is delicious. Both flavors are worth recommending. In addition, salade coer de filet, is a sensational salad with salmon. Very nice, smiling service. It is worth booking a place in advance. Although we were there twice and managed to eat. Even when there were reservations, the waiter was very polite and offered a place if we managed to eat within 40 minutes. And it worked and the dishes were served immediately:))))

06/12/2024: I have been going to this place for 4 years. I made friends with the owners and the waiters who are all adorable. I also go there for lunch, dinner or an aperitif. Every time it’s a pleasant moment. Quality of products, atmosphere and terrace! And since the end of confinement, the menu has changed for summer and is being renewed again for winter! What a team! Keep it up, this place is worth the detour!
05/12/2024: We had an excellent afterwork event at Chai Brongniart. It was great for team building, and the staff were both efficient and courteous.
