We were expecting something truly top-of-the-range, and yet we were blown away by the experience we received. The welcome, the service, the meal, the quality of the food—it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you again for the wonderful time we had.

An authentic and charming place. Delicate cuisine with unexpected and delicious combinations. Impeccable service. Special mention to the chef de partie who was perfect and greatly contributed to making our lunch so enjoyable. A restaurant well worth the detour!

The location is ideal, situated beside a pond and further enhanced by the presence and workings of the old mill; all this is complemented by the creation of a remarkable bamboo grove. The Japanese garden is very pleasant, however, one minor point: perhaps it would be wise to clean the ponds...????

Thank you for this exceptional experience. The service, from the moment we arrived at the train station to the garden tour, was warm and impeccable. The chef's signature touch of perfectly measured acidity and tanginess is a unique and even more promising style. The full intensity of the flavors captivated us: the fish stock, the fir oil… Congratulations again on this timeless moment.

A wonderful place, wonderful food—everything special naturally comes at a price, but for us, it's worth it. If you want to treat yourself to something special, I highly recommend it. Isabelle, at whose bed and breakfast we stayed, later suggested we also go there for lunch. Then you can choose the five-course menu. Seven courses in the evening were a bit much and a long time for us. But that's just down to our personal mood 😇🤣

Young and old alike adored these exquisite dishes, which pleased everyone, even the pickiest eaters – a remarkable achievement. The service team was incredibly attentive, with numerous thoughtful touches and a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere, while remaining discreet and calm. Here too, a welcome sense of balance. The decor was understated and tasteful, the ambiance intimate and comfortable. A huge thank you to Chef Burtin and his highly professional teams, both in the kitchen and the dining room, for this meal away from the hustle and bustle; simply the pleasure of being together and enjoying exceptional dishes that were unanimously appreciated. Two stars, richly deserved and justified.
