An exceptional evening. From start to finish, the amuse-bouche, main course, and dessert were excellent. A chapter closes, with a pang of sadness, no doubt, for many, but the restaurant remains in very good hands. We've been several times. Tonight, to our surprise, we were told that Mario is no longer there, that he's sold it to his boss. At first, a little disappointment... Wasn't Mario the heart and soul of the establishment? Well, no. The soul of L'Amphitryon is, above all, the Chef's cuisine. And what cuisine it is! Perfect from start to finish, balanced, flavorful, refined, original, a delight. And the soul of L'Amphitryon is also its team. Bravo to Steve, who doesn't imitate Mario, who is authentic, who is himself, and who is so warm, interesting, funny, and pleasant. And to his colleague, equally professional, friendly, with that rare and precious intelligence of adapting to her customers. A wonderful team, a magnificent meal. We will be back, that's for sure, and L'Amphitryon has lost none of its splendor. Thank you for the moments spent with you, which are always memorable.
