What a wonderful establishment! The Thierry Breton universe continues to do good for humanity. I remember that first Monday of lockdown in early 2020, queuing all the way along the sidewalk in front of the Carrefour on Rue Amelot, in an atmosphere of impending doom: I turned around, and in the distance, I saw Thierry Breton's cornbread, sold by Le Repaire de Cartouche. Later, near Gros-Caillou, I had the same experience at L'Ami Jean, owned by Stéphane Jégo, on Rue Malar. I thus experienced lockdown surrounded by the delicious aroma of real cornbread, the perfect accompaniment to the Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines from Domaine Charvin, generously provided by Auberge Pyrénées-Cévennes. So, as soon as I (belatedly) discovered the existence of this divine restaurant open on weekends, I didn't hesitate for a second to make the long journey on bus 93 to Puteaux, to Jean-Pierre and Jarlène Vasseur's place. Indeed, Jean-Pierre, a native of Puteaux, had Thierry Breton as his mentor at Chez Michel, Chez Casimir, and La Pointe du Groin, renowned establishments on Rue de Belzunce, behind Saint-Vincent-de-Paul. Guéméné-sur-Scorff andouille sausage, with its farm-raised pork belly and beautiful mashed potatoes, marvels of authenticity enjoyed with the remaining periwinkles in mayonnaise; a memorable stuffed cabbage with kid goat, and perfectly sourced, top-quality vegetables; and, for a simpler option, Thierry Breton's Paris-Brest-Paris, accompanied by a Plaine coffee roasted in Colombes. Passing on talent and exceptional products. Plancoët sparkling mineral water and a perfect 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Trois Sources from Domaine de la Vieille Julienne. Pure bliss! And the madeleine of Ker-Proust, if I may say so (don't laugh: apart from memory, there isn't much else!).

A three-course meal, including starter, main course, and dessert, with wine included, for 55 euros per person. Excellent value for money, especially considering the generous portions. The atmosphere was friendly, and the staff attentive. A very pleasant and relaxing experience in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for leisurely strolls afterwards.

17/05/2026: Very welcoming. We went two nights in a row; the pizzas, pasta, and escalopes were all very good. Good value for money. We will return on our next trip.
