Incredible! From the amuse-bouche to the coffee! Perfect cooking techniques. Visually stunning. And the service was professional and impeccable. In short, perfect. Thank you again!

Excellent food wine, and ambience. Service was excellent but seemed a bit stressed at times. Overall and outstanding dining experience.

The food was very good. The atmosphere was fine until the restaurant seated a group of 25 at three tables next to us. They were loud and ruined a pleasant visit. The restaurant was also understaffed for the number of patrons. The staff did a good job but there just were not enough of them to provide the attentiveness expected at a restaurant of this caliber.

The food was wonderful The amuse was a delightful fois gras mouse with a petite choux My sea bass was perfectly cooked And my toasted apple was delicious The service would have gotten 5 stars but there were 3 of us couples seated in a corner the restaurant had huge group of 25 people And the end of our meal unraveled We waited for 25 minutes just to get our check Our dinner started at 7:00 We were the first diners but we weren’t able to leave until 935 pm because of the check debacle I think they really needed another pair of hands to handle a completely full restaurant

Le P'tit Resto

30/09/2026: This was our 2. visit to Bayeux, but our 1. chance to dine at Le P’tit Resto, it had always been fully booked before. Now we understand why! The service was outstanding. Our server spoke excellent English and stayed wonderfully calm even when the restaurant became very busy. She and her colleague managed everything with such warmth and skill. I’ve worked in hospitality myself, and I know how much that takes. Those two are worth their weight in gold. The food was just as impressive. The chefs deserve a star of their own! Every cent was worth it, and we would happily come back.
30/09/2026: The restaurant was recommended to us by our local hosts and diner at Le P’tit Resto was indeed an excellent experience in French food. Seated outside, with a beautiful view of the cathedral, we had a very nice 3-course diner, very well prepared and presented. The dark chocolate desert was fingerlicking good.

La Normande

18/09/2026: This restaurant is a gem. The dishes are fresh and well-prepared, the desserts are excellent, and the service is warm and very professional. I highly recommend this establishment, where I've had lunch and dinner several times. Nadine Doucet
12/09/2026: Great find in Bayeux! We hadn’t booked but managed to get an outside table. Our New Zealand waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive. The tenderloin steak with peppercorn sauce and potato patty was absolutely superb, I’m salivating thinking about it! The chicken supreme was also excellent, and the carafe of Merlot was very good and reasonably priced. Book ahead if you can.
