L'Annexe sur Le Mans

Very welcoming restaurant. Helpful staff. Decent and very good food. A great find!

I came to try it out after seeing the weekly daily specials posted on Facebook. Unfortunately, it was advertised as Moussaka on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, but it turned out to be devil's ham hock. However, the next day it was indeed paella... I finally chose the "Catch of the Day" dish for €15.90, which consisted of cod loin with curry sauce on a bed of rice and ratatouille. The curry was a tiny bit strong, but otherwise the rest of the dish was excellent. The small fruit salad for dessert, a bit pricey at €6, was very fresh and a decent portion. The service was incredibly responsive and attentive despite the lunchtime crowd. I came on foot because I know it's difficult to get around and park in the area during lunchtime.

Just a simple coffee at the bar during lunchtime service, and they serve you as if you'd ordered a starter, main course, and dessert! That's professional! Well done, Loïc and your team!

A very warm welcome, their Liège chocolate is amazing, and their mussels and fries are excellent, I'll have to come back again for a real treat 🥰

Perfect! I was traveling and snowed in, but I managed to find a warm and very friendly spot in the evening, so I came back the next day for lunch! The products are fresh and homemade, a real plus. Great team, thank you Steeve for the warm welcome.

I live in Angers and I take a FlixBus once a week to visit my 89-year-old father who has been living in a nursing home for almost three years. The FlixBus stop is just a few meters from L'Annexe. One day, the bus was running late, so I decided to have a drink while I waited... and headed to L'Annexe. And that's where I was offered, for the first time, a non-alcoholic Leffe Blonde > I was instantly hooked! I like to remind the staff about it from time to time... So, I go back often 😊 because 1] I'm a big fan of brasserie atmospheres 2] The welcome at L'Annexe is very warm, and rather masculine 😊, as a large majority of the staff are men! 3] Always very friendly and attentive to their customers...
