After a lovely morning at the market on Monday, what a pleasure it was to stop for lunch at L'Amour! 😊 A delicious chicken paillarde with sun-dried tomatoes—flavorful and perfectly seasonal cuisine. Bravo to the chef! 👏👩‍🍳 And a special mention for the service, which was quick and efficient, with a very attentive and pleasant waitress. A truly wonderful experience; thank you to the whole team!

Lunch on the terrace today. We chose the daily specials: turbot and sole. Absolutely wonderful, excellent. The same goes for the desserts. A very pleasant experience with high-quality cuisine.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived at 7 pm, so relatively early in the service. However, when it came time to choose desserts for the children, we were told that they were already out of ice cream. This is quite surprising at such an early hour and should have been mentioned upon arrival or when we placed our order to avoid disappointing the children. As for the main courses, they were generally quite good. Only the children's meal disappointed us: the meat was overcooked, and the meal was served on a rather small plate, which wasn't very practical for a child. The decor is also quite unusual and might be surprising, especially for families with children. It's not necessarily a deal-breaker, but it's something to consider depending on the clientele. The service also left much to be desired. We noticed that some staff members made no attempt to hide their annoyance in front of customers, which is particularly unpleasant and demonstrates a certain lack of professionalism. However, we would like to emphasize that our server, on the other hand, was very pleasant. It's a shame, because with better communication, more attention paid to children's menus, and a more professional attitude from the entire team, our experience would certainly have been very different.

The food was good, although the dressing on my salad was rather bland. The ingredients were high quality, and the service was attentive. Three minor drawbacks: the explanation of the daily specials lacked conviction, the tip was pre-calculated but thankfully optional when paying the bill, and the extended terrace lacked wind protection and was too close to a fairly busy street. These minor issues slightly marred the experience.

Kudos to the kitchen! Don't change a thing, it's fantastic. A 10 stars for you! However, it's a bit of a shame to book online and then find that upon arrival, we were seated wherever there was space... (at the entrance between two tables). We came as a couple, and unfortunately, the atmosphere of this restaurant didn't bring us any romance... Overall, the experience didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation. Luckily, the food makes up for everything else; it's a shame.
