I love coming here with my family for a bite to eat, especially outside of peak season. The location is fantastic for the view, and the food is excellent (the whole menu is amazing). The dishes are superb, and the kids love the children's menu, which is definitely one less thing for parents to worry about. The service is pleasant and attentive most of the time. However, I wouldn't recommend going in August. We arrived at 12:45 PM with a reservation and didn't leave until 4:00 PM. They forgot our order, and the 20-minute wait at the till with three young children was quite a challenge. It was also very busy, and we understand that it wasn't easy for the service at the end of the season. But a little smile would have made a difference, and it's free! 🙃 In any case, I highly recommend this restaurant for its combination of stunning views and delicious food. 🙂

We arrived late, very late, beyond our reservation time. But this wonderful couple and their lovely dogs were happy to accommodate us. Everything was fantastic. 5 stars

Excellent lunch this Friday at L'Arcoch Payolle...very friendly waiter with a great sense of humor and very good food...restaurant with a magnificent view of the lake, the Arbizon and the Pic du Midi...I will be back...

Excellent restaurant! The bavette steak with shallots was incredibly tender, the picanha beef equally tender, all accompanied by delicious fries, Basque cake with red berry coulis – a real treat! And all this with a view of Lake Payolle and its sunset.

Great restaurant with delicious grilled meats and homemade fries. The setting is really lovely and the servers are all smiling. It's worth a visit (5 minutes by car from the main road) and there's plenty of parking.

Okay... for the magnificent view. At first it was good with fresh ingredients... now it's become a tourist restaurant with no real cuisine. A shame.
