A truly excellent restaurant in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand. Everything is homemade, expertly prepared with quality ingredients! The quality-to-price ratio is practically unbeatable!

I am truly sorry to leave a bad review, and it's not something I usually do, especially for restaurants or small shops, but I feel I must share my friend's experience. We booked a table for two on Friday evening, including a starter, main course, and dessert, and we were absolutely dissatisfied. We ordered steak and fries, which were far too heavily seasoned and bland, and we barely touched our plates. We didn't even want to take the food home because it was so bad, which is a shame for such a simple dish as steak and fries. The atmosphere is quite noisy because the place is very cramped and the tables are almost all crammed together, so we couldn't have a conversation without our neighbors overhearing us, and vice versa. The waitress, who also seems to be the owner, is very friendly, but the service is rather basic. We had to take our own plates, which is unprofessional. My friend vomited all night because of the overcooked meat. The desserts were very bland and overly sweet, lacking any real nuance; they were similar to desserts you might find at a supermarket. We were not at all satisfied with our experience, but we also take into account that we came on a Saturday night and it's a very busy restaurant.

No complaints whatsoever. From the phone reservation to the welcome, order taking, and service, the two waitresses were very friendly. We had dinner there on Monday, on the terrace, and were delighted. The burger of the day (with Comté cheese) and the French toast were truly excellent. A little gem that I highly recommend, and very reasonable prices. Park in the cathedral parking lot and walk (5 minutes) to the center of Clermont. The service industry seems far from easy, so kudos for your courage and good humor.
