Lard et la Manière sur Clermont-Ferrand

My favorite restaurant in Clermont, the one I take my loved ones to <3 The welcome is so friendly, and the menu is irresistible. This time, I went for the sweetbreads with morels and homemade fries. Absolutely divine! The sweetbreads were cooked to perfection, the sauce was amazing, and the fries were... truly homemade! All served with a fantastic little white wine recommended by the charming waiter. The only problem is that the portions are so generous that I couldn't resist the dessert menu, even though it was very tempting. Next time, I won't eat all day and I'll go all out. We were able to dine outside, which was very pleasant, even though I also really like the interior decor and its cool atmosphere. In short, I love this place, and the friends I introduce it to become fans too. See you soon, without a doubt!

We catered the lunch for the conference our research lab was organizing at the restaurant (approximately 20 people, international). Communication was very easy, and we ate extremely well. Many of our colleagues were delighted and thanked us for choosing this restaurant. The portions were also very generous. Thank you for your hospitality.

The food and menus offered were very good, with vegetarian options! However, the music inside was very loud, which made conversations around the table more difficult 😅

Very warm welcome, quick service. Generous portions with fries and salad. The duck breast was very good; however, it would be good to correct the wording on the menu because "normal duck breast" = half duck breast according to the receipt, and indeed, it was half a duck breast. The menu mentions an XL; it would be good to specify its size as well. The truffade was considered a little too salty, but perhaps that's normal, as we weren't familiar with this dish. The background music was very loud, even too loud. Turning the volume down just a bit would make it perfect. The restrooms were a little dirty, and the floor was sticky. In conclusion, a good restaurant to recommend, but with these comments in mind.

A wonderful discovery in the center of Clermont! The name piqued our curiosity, and rightly so! The meal was excellent: the starter and main course, the presentation, the taste, and the generous portions were all top-notch. The service was excellent, friendly but very well done. My only slight complaint was about the French toast; for me, it was just toasted and not soaked. Congratulations on your victory this weekend to the Catalans who went home empty-handed! 😅
