A warm welcome and delicious food at a reasonable price. I thoroughly enjoyed the fish on its creamy risotto. The starter was original and absolutely divine: a velvety soup presented like a cappuccino. And finally, a gourmet coffee that truly lived up to its name!

A consistently warm and friendly welcome. A menu where I always find something I like. A pleasant setting with a small terrace out back for sunny days. I love it!

Based on the excellent Google reviews, we chose L'Ardoise in Lamballe and were not disappointed. The menu was superb, and we particularly enjoyed the sharing appetizers. We found the mix of regional, traditional Breton dishes and fresh daily specials of fish and meat to be very well done. They also offer children's and vegetarian options. We highly recommend it. The service was also excellent, and all our questions were answered in English. Thank you to your wonderful team, who were always very attentive, friendly, and accommodating!

16/10/2026: A delightful discovery during a stop in Lamballe. Slow-cooked pork ribs were a real treat. Simple cuisine, seasonal and local produce, all at a very reasonable price. The owners are passionate and dedicated to the quality of their ingredients. A truly excellent place.
