We had dinner as a party of six at this restaurant, which was a wonderful discovery. The dishes (Italian beef tartare, steak with morels, etc.) were perfect. We enjoyed excellent wines served by the carafe. Norbert, the owner, was very attentive, warm, and helpful. We highly recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful discovery this lunchtime! Passing through the area, we were looking for an open restaurant and stumbled upon L’Ardoise in Brignais – a truly pleasant surprise. The owner is charming and welcoming; we took the time to chat with him after our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it!

We arrived by chance and were warmly welcomed with courteous service, a friendly atmosphere, pleasant decor, and most importantly, a cuisine that puts a fresh spin on classics like the entirely homemade Caesar salad with a truly authentic dressing, for example! A delight from start to finish... Highly recommended for a weeknight!

A charming little place, where simplicity and sharing are the order of the day! Norbert welcomes you with a smile that would make a mortician happy, and does everything he can to meet your needs! Stéphanie, for her part, will delight you with her authentic and generous cuisine! We're not here to make you want to eat a piece of bread at home!

It was excellent! If we hadn't been full already, we would have eaten another plate. We had strips of beef in morel sauce, risotto with vegetables, and a large salad with bacon. It was simply delicious, and the service was very friendly. We definitely recommend it!
