L'Ardoise sur Saint-Andre-Les-Alpes

Excellent restaurant in this lovely village. Wide selection of quality meats. Pleasant terrace. Professional staff.

We discovered L'Ardoise several years ago by chance. We return every year, and several times if we can. A very nice and varied menu, out of the ordinary, with some dishes featuring Asian influences (the spring roll is excellent), and a good selection for meat lovers as well. The prices are quite reasonable. The service is very welcoming and friendly. In short, a great find, I highly recommend it.

We were very warmly welcomed. The dish was delicious. The waiter was friendly and very efficient. The ribeye steak melted in your mouth, and the homemade profiteroles were incredible. We will be back.

This little place tucked away at the back of Place Charles Bron was recommended to us, and now it's our turn to recommend it! The dishes are beautifully presented with original, unpretentious flavors. There's a wide selection, including options for vegetarians!

We stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a very pleasant surprise. The dishes were prepared with finesse and creativity, using good ingredients: andouillette sausage, local lamb, and friendly, attentive service – everything you hope to find when stopping in this village with its flower-filled terrace. French cuisine as we love it: flavorful, high-quality, and beautifully presented. We'll be back soon!
