L'ARDOISE sur La Rochelle

The owners are always very welcoming and the food is always excellent (homemade, not industrial), which is why I return to this restaurant whenever I have the opportunity to be in La Rochelle.

Nice, quiet restaurant next to the train station, and good.

A very good experience. A small but carefully prepared market menu, fresh and, above all, very good for a reasonable price. A place where you eat with pleasure, where the welcome and service are fantastic, and a special mention for the children's menu, which was very popular thanks to the thoughtful touches and the delicious homemade chicken nuggets. In short, thank you for everything; we will return on our next trip to La Rochelle.

We arrived at 7am-1pm with a one-hour lunch break, fast service, good food, very pleasant welcome.

I had a wonderful time here. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and true to tradition. The staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

We spent five days in La Rochelle for a wedding and discovered this restaurant right across from our hotel! We had three delicious lunches there in a row! Our only regret is that it's not open in the evenings and on weekends, lol! The homemade dishes are of excellent quality, and the service is incredibly friendly!
